Gorgeous little Matilda’s beautiful newborn portrait shoot.
Matilda visited me for her newborn portrait shoot at 7 days new. What an easy baby she was! We flew through her session since she was asleep solidly the entire time! This doesn’t happen often but when it does it’s incredible!
Her parents opted for soft neutral colours and minimal props for her newborn portraits which I always think is stunning. During a newborn portrait session, I want the focus to be on the baby and the emotional connection of the family more than the sets or props used. I really want to create images for my clients that they will still love in 30+ years.

Behind the shoot
We went with creams and whites in a relaxed studio session. Natural and cosy these images really highlight the authentic connection and love of the family. Natural newborn portraits that are focused on the baby and all their sweet features in a style that will be beautiful forever.
