Crashing waves, a pair of doggies and a baby bump- what could go wrong? Rachel and Darren’s Little Austinmer maternity photoshoot.
For Rachel and Darren, it was an absolute must to include the dogs in their shoot so we planned a Little Austinmer maternity photoshoot, a dog-friendly beach that is just stunning. The dogs are their first babes and their journey to parenthood has been a challenge so these pups have been loved and spoilt while they were trying to conceive!
So many clients ask about including their fur babies in either the maternity or newborn shoot and while I think the idea is gorgeous the execution is sometimes challenging! In studio, it is a bit squishy so when clients want to include them, I usually suggest we shoot outdoors with room to roam around.
All was going well until we nearly wiped out from a crashing wave but when it makes for gorgeous photos it’s worth it! Check out the shots below and if you’d love to chat about a beach maternity session let me know 🙂
