Baby Jayden came in for his Newborn Photography session at just 6 days old. He was such a star for his newborn photos. Sometimes you just get lucky in newborn photography. You get the perfect day for a sleepy baby. It is hard to predict what day is going to be the best in the first two weeks and it depends on if they are breast or formula-fed. Sometimes 6 days is perfect and sometimes it’s too early and they are feeding non-stop. It is definitely not a science!

Jayden’s dad is also a photographer and as always, when another photographer chooses you to photograph their baby and family, it is a huge honour. They chose to have a relaxed family portion of their session. I am so in love with doing the family portion like this! It gives such great images interacting with your baby and I am so happy they decided to include an heirloom album with their collection. I know they will treasure it forever.

We take bookings for due dates and then move to a firm session time after your baby arrives. No need to worry about how to schedule it, we have you covered! We only take a limited amount of newborn sessions every month to allow time to move sessions around. We know babies are unpredictable about when they decide to arrive!

Babies are best photographed in the first 2 weeks to get the sleepy photos that parents love. So pre-booking is essential. If you have just discovered us or realised that newborn photography is a thing and, your baby is already here, get in touch and we will do our best to get you in for a session with your new baby asap.

If you’d like to book in for your newborn session you can see all the details here and contact now to avoid missing out. Check out all the photos from this gorgeous newborn photography session below. I hope you love these photos as much as I do!
